Here's my hat study with pastels added. The support is gray canson...I'm getting used to using this paper and actually like it. I'm going to crop it to 8x10. The shirt was white, so I used different hues (colors), but kept the same values...which is important in painting. I'm not completely satisfied with it, but I learned a lot while painting it. The photo doesn't do it justice...it looks so much better IRL.
