Yesterday, DH, Kris and I ate at Lankford's Grocery, which was on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives this past Sunday. It was so busy, that we decided to go ahead and eat outside. After about 15 minutes, we wished we would have waited to eat inside, it was so hot and humid. It was definitely a dive, but had good food! My cheeseburger was oozing all over the place and the onions rings were some of the best I've ever had.

it's in downtown houston...88 dennis. They are open Mon-Sat from 7am to 3pm. The waitress was super nice and told us all about when "Guy" was there.
