My sister brought me 20 more chicks Wednesday night...there are 18 Dominique's and 2 Leghorns.

DH built this chicken plucker...he will be using it tomorrow to process 8 of the Rhode Island Red Rooster...They are 17 weeks old and are so mean...I'll be glad to see them in the freezer.

That plucker looks interesting....I know what you mean about those Rhode Island Reds!! I think Rose got spurred by one when we were little. They are very territorial:-)
Rita...you are so right about the Reds. We had one when I was growing up and he was the meanest...I can't tell you how many times he spurred me...I hated that chicken! Oh btw, the plucker cut the processing time in half.
