I decided to raise red broilers this year for our meat birds. Usually we raise cornish cross, but they are so lazy and have very little personality. I thought I was going to lose one this morning...he was so lethargic and wouldn't eat or drink. I was going to put him out of his misery, but couldn't do it (yes, I know I'm a wimp) and now I'm glad I didn't. He is doing much better.

debbie, the chicks are soooo cute!!!! I love the little one looking kinda towards the camera that looks like he has a little mohawk!
There are a couple that have that mohawk look...I just wonder what they are going to look like when they start getting feathers.
