I think we finally got enough "chill hours" this Winter for the peach trees...they are finally blooming this year! It's been several years since we have seen any blooms on these trees. DH and I went to a fruit tree seminar about a month ago and learned that fruit trees in our area need to get anywhere from 200 to 500 chill hours each year, so we are only buying trees that need around 200 hours...we think it's rare for our area to get 500 chill hours a year.

Yes, it is looking like Spring!!! good luck with those fruit trees. My parents never were able to get theirs to produce very much fruit.
