I'm not much for peppermint candy canes, so I was excited when I found these sweet tart canes.
I started knitting this hat Sunday night. I'm knitting it for myself, but I know that Britt or Kris will try and talk me into letting them have it.

We have leaves everywhere! I love the crunchy sound they make under my feet.

How did you learn how to knit?? I used to knit in my teens, but forgot how...is there a book you suggest?? Also, Santa is bringing us an iMac......it all started after you sent me that e-mail. I never really considered a Mac until then, thanks!
Rita, I taught myself to knit by watching videos at knittinghelp,com...I recommend you learn the continental method...I think it's the easiest and it's not so hard on your hands. The first thing I knitted was a scarf. I'm so glad to hear that your getting a Mac! Merrry Christmas!
