DH and I went to Wabash Feed and Antique store (in the Heights) this morning...we go there about once a month for organic chicken feed. I always go in the back to see what dogs, chicks and kittens they have for sale. These 2 Westies were so cute...I immediately thought of Kristie...Riley would love a playmate. I wanted to open the cage and take them out...they wanted to play so bad. I hate to see animals caged up...it just breaks my heart.

where have you been?!

Last night DH and I removed the "so called" fertile eggs from Penelope and put her in this crate. There were only 7 eggs left and nothing was happening to any of them...it has been over 21 days. She has been looking very weak and hasn't been eating enough, so enough of this broodiness. She's in the yard area by the chick house for now. As you can see, some of the reds were filling her in on the latest gossip. lol
